Office-Tab was designed to be Hannigan’s Office in Annie. A Tab is a backdrop that is half the size of a full-size drop. This is made for smaller stages when the orphanage drop is “in,” typically you hang this drop downstage of the orphanage drop, placing a desk in front of the Tab for Mrs. Hannigan. The scenes in Hannigan’s office then take place while the Orphanage backdrop hangs upstage. This is a great scene setting for “Easy Street”. Office-Tab can also be used in other shows requiring a small office setting such as Bye Bye Birdie, Damn Yankees and George M. Office-Tab measures 17 1/2 feet tall and 24 feet wide. It is hand-painted on muslin and has grommets with tie lines across the top for hanging. It also has a pocket in the bottom back so you can insert a pole or chain to weight the drop if you choose.
